A bad-boy, a good-girl, a diva, a hustler, a rocker and a nerd living under one roof without parents to control their every move makes for an interesting time. All of them have been emancipated from their families. They all have their reasons for wanting freedom - family issues, careers, a hidden agenda, dirty secrets - but does that come at a price, and one they're willing to pay? This book is told through the six teens' points of view, which sometimes made it hard to keep track of what was happening to who and who was telling their story in their chapter. I felt like this book never really fully explained and followed through with each character's problems because each person had their own issues and was trying to tell all six stories while interconnecting them. It left me feeling like there was too much build-up with no follow-through. It was definitely an interesting storyline and I will read the second book in the series because there was something about this novel that hooked me. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars. - @Fallenangelhushhush of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
