Agatha Christy’s ‘And Then There Were None’ is a great book that falls into the categories of mystery and crime. The main plot being 10 people get trapped in an isolated mansion on a deserted island, and among them is a killer. One by one they slowly die, and they work together to try to see who it is before they are all dead. This book is quite advanced and very intriguing to read. I love mystery novels, movies and shows, so this book is perfect for me. The story can get a little confusing, but after reading for a while and meeting all of the characters, it makes a lot more sense. This is such an interesting fictional book as it is insanely mysterious and extremely unpredictable, making it constantly exciting. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery novels, as this is one of the better, advanced ones. 5/5 stars @SKxox of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board And Then There Were None is a fantastic mystery book written by Agatha Christie, a well-known detective novel writer. Unlike many of her previous books, a main detective such as Poirot is not introduced, instead she is showing us everyone’s perspective and suspicions. Arguably one of the most intense and nail-biting mystery-crime ever written, And Then There Were None almost brings the reader into the setting and causes them to feel the same emotions as the characters. I was so immersed, that I managed to finish it in less than 2 days. As I don’t wish to spoil the ending, all I will say is that it is a guarantee that the reader’s jaw will drop. It is my new personal favorite detective novel. 5/5 stars @Basilisk_0 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library I rate And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie a 5/5. This novel demonstrates the excellence of the queen of mystery; Agatha Christie. This novel is one of Agatha's most popular novels and for a good reason. The book keeps you on edge for the entire time, and right when you think you have solved the mystery, an incredible twist occurs. 10 people on an island, 10 murders. It's a plot that engages you right from the start and keeps you wondering. At first, it was a bit confusing since it shows the perspective of 10 characters, but eventually, it becomes an easy read. It is a bit dark, as 10 murders take place during the novel, but it is not too graphic that it becomes disturbing. And Then There Were None also touches on controversial topics like justice and capital punishment which shows different views of many situations since this book was written in 1939. In conclusion, I read this novel for a school assignment, but it is a great read for anybody looking for a thrilling murder mystery novel. @TheBookkeeper of The Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Often considered her masterpiece, Agatha Christie creates a suspenseful mystery novel with an extremely well-planned out plot that makes it a fun read. After eight guests arrive at an island, strange and eerie events occur. The guests begin to die one after another, but the cause of their deaths seems to follow a nursery rhyme placed in each of their rooms called "Ten Little Indians". They soon discover that there is no one else on the island except for them. The killer, who so cleverly avoids every attempt at discovery, can only be one of the guests themselves. This novel, which questions the logic of justice and its administration in the modern world, creates tense situations in every page and should definitely be read by anyone who enjoys reading mystery novels. 4.5/5 @ACowVan of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
