Gillen takes on the writing for Iron Man with this volume, having Tony Stark trying to deal with the presence of Extremis out in the world and the people who want it. While Gillen is as usual a good writer and handles the characters well, the book is hampered by the art. Greg Land has a well established reputation in the industry for derivative art, particularly in how he draws people. Facial expressions and body language suggest that the man spends far too much time watching certain items of adult entertainment. It gets tedious after awhile.
