Watch Seven Psychopaths and you get a zany film. A film scriptwriter meets a few strange characters, which might be like some of the characters of a film that he wants to develop, but he gets writer’s block. Woody Harrelson is great as the crazed, comedic, wild gangster. Hey, Christopher Walken is great in this film also. Know the country for the film that gave Walken his Oscar for best supporting actor? – It was The Deer Hunter. I think the makers of the film threw in a scene about a Vietnamese monk committing self-immolation. For those not too much up on history, monk immolation was the warning that should have stopped America from getting involved in the Vietnamese War. Are the Oscar and the immolation scene, both about Vietnam, some kind of message from Walken?
