Seven Psychopaths: A nice approach to the mentality and to the mindset of an individual’s thought thinking, traveling path. I think that each one of us has a unique perspective to have and to hold and to house these special stories that no one other has. And to harness this seeming skill will make one more aware that he/she/it is story, and that each one of these stories come from many senses and from many thinking thoughts. When one only sees differences in others that they dislike, one will become as a defined prison with walls unto themselves, and will only be able to live within those walls of their own fear, hate, confusion, and greed. Undefined characters try to see themselves in any imaginable way, and try to approach and walk the path of all psychopaths. But most importantly, and this should not be forgotten: people are all important. I thought the story plot and its corresponding story devices were a good means for measure as per point of views having their own perspectives on other people’s point of views. It can be said that I am psychopath as well, and to this it fits via a mind of mine own or not of mine own, traveling on paths of mine own making or not of mine own making. Row, row, row your boat…gentle down the stream…merrily, merrily, merrily…life is but a dream. The characters portrayed a certain aura of something like a “Canterbury Tales” equivalent, whereby each teller of tales told his story and stories in terms of insight on personal individual life experience and from this personal perspective coming from a myriad of mentally mapped out point(s) of view(s), came thus, unique stories. We are all readers, writers, directors, artists, musicians, feelers, and tinkering thinkers; we are everything we allow ourselves to be…and still we may be nothing more than that of but a dream…but, at least, if possible, might we, the dream, be the best damned dream, a dream can be. This movie is further testament to as why one, such as I, would hold that everything that I am and everything that I behold is as not real-real…but, is at best, imaginary. With all the interjection of the imaginary that goes on in one’s life, one rarely if ever has it don upon them that they too are imaginary. Excellent take on direction of the story and of all stories interwoven into this story sequence called Seven Psychopaths. Rating: 5.0/5.0; Xandor Who
