Better than the first three seasons. More clever and funny, with some morbid humor (Miss Blankenship character is hysterically funny). Also more mature dialogue and deeper character development. Don Draper is a more multi-dimensional character than previously portrayed. Still, the series is a bit messy and juvenile but the last episode is brilliant and is topped off with "I Got You, Babe." The feature about Johnson vs Goldwater 1964 is worth watching for a brief history of the times. Goldwater is not afraid to appear in his political commercials and makes a lot of sense to me. I did notice the damage on the DVDs but you won't miss anything skipping these parts.
