A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "There's just something fun about reading spooky stories by Stephen King, in the thick heat of summer. And many of the 13 stories in this 2008 collection take place in the sunshine, but that certainly doesn't make them any less dark. Everyone knows King is the "Master of Horror", but he is also a master of the short story. When confined to a few dozen pages instead of several hundred, the amazing detail, richness of his characters and truly horrifying plot twists are even sharper. My favourite story in the bunch is N., about a psychiatrist who is "infected" by the delusions of a patient. But I really enjoyed all of them. Creepy, unsettling, at many points funny, and definitely an entertaining read. "
