"Bongiorno principesa!" We watched this in our LA class for our holoucaust unit. The beginning of the movie made me laugh until my sides hurt, and the end made me cry until my eyes were out of tears. I love the hope and joy that Guido gives to his son and wife. You can clearly see the terror of the concentration camps, but feel as if there is still hope in the world. This movie leaves you with a feeling of hope and joy, like the world is new again. The Italian is beautiful, so listen to it in Italian and read the subtitles, you will get used to it in like two minutes. I highly recomend this movie; you will remember it forever.
