A loner decided to meet up with his former high school sweetheart, a needy blonde ... smell the trouble for her men miles away.

...well, IMBD reviewers LOVED it, but I can't say the same. But I learned long ago that every movie doesn't have to be the BEST movie; sometimes interesting is interesting enough. It's worth a watch if you're okay with spending part of you time deciphering whether dialogue is funny (odd, not haha) or just poorly written. You also may find yourself timing just how long T Hayden Church can hold one expression, so possibly missing some plot points. Just be sure to get focused by the halfway mark - you'll want to be paying attention during the last half.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

Unusual little film; not spectacular, but worth a chance. Good talent pool with low-key performances: Church, as he often does, plays a seemingly dull, unemotional character (who actually has an agenda than others don't realize); Shue does a good job of looking good and seeming unbalanced; Walsh provides a good bridge for the main character's past in his home and his present life in the city.

It's a cheap production film but the director managed to make it looked decent.

The movie has started good but the ending spells out all the secrets like a soap opera. What a shame.

Also, the main character who is so calm and relax sitting in front of the house, and has a chatting with the cops, even though he has been caught. It this make sense?

Entertaining, economical, oddball film noir / small-town crime thriller. Elisabeth Shue looks great in her wardrobe, consisting largely of slips.

Don: I'm not crazy.
Sam: No? You're not?
Don: No. I was just lonely.
Don: You're lying to me.
Sonny: I know it seems that way, but I swear I'm not.
Don: Look at that!
Sunny: I can explain. I swear, I can explain
Sonny: Don, I lied to you because I didn't wanna to put you in the middle of everything. I wanted what we had to be ours. I just - I -- I didn't know
what to say.
