What drew me to this book was the softly drawn cover of adorable animals by illustrator Renata Liwska. 'Waiting for Snow' is a cute and funny story by Marsha Arnold about how forest animals eagerly await the first snowfall, especially badger. It is a great read aloud to illustrate the importance of patience, problem-solving, and how some things cannot be rushed -- in this case, nature.

Creative, fun, and oh so cute. Teaches kids about letting things happen in their time.

Aren't we all waiting for that first snow? Badger can hardly contain himself and does everything he can to bring the snow, including wearing his pajamas backwards. The real fun is watching Badger's patient and creative friends as they wait with him.
