The narration of this audiobook leaves a lot to be desired. The tone of the narration is antiquated; it has a 1950s newscast kind of feel. It seems, furthermore, that he has some trouble with certain words. He kind of slurs them or wavers in his pronunciation. He also has a tendency to lower his volume and the ends of sentences, so some words are practically inaudible.

I cannot comment on the accuracy of the narrator's Lithuanian accent, but his Irish one is rather caricatured and his German one is not passable. I will say, however, that he does very convincing drunk speech.

There also seem to be some problems with the mastering of the CDs. If you listen with headphones, you can hear the audio repeated very quietly after a one-second delay.
