Found this album dull and plodding. Almost all songs are done in 1/2 time_ One and Two and One and Two...
Tracks 9 and 5 are kinda catchy/livelier. And i rather liked the lyrics of track 6, "Coping Mechanism".
This folk duo is an absolute dream team. I've never seen two musicians complement each other so well. This record will make you dance, laugh, cry, etc. And while rooted in folk, it definitely rocks out some. The best thing about it is Cary Ann Hearst's sassy, powerhouse voice. Recommended by Sarah
Hailing from South Carolina, this duo has a lot to offer. I like the pared-down instruments and their powerful voices. I can't listen to this album from start to finish, but prefer to mix it in with my other alt-country favorites for a rockin' "moonshine mix" playlist.
