Gail Sheehy's memoir Daring is one of the best memoirs I have ever read. It is not only extremely well written, but tells the important story of the struggle for female journalists to break out of the"women's pages" of weddings and recipes and be given the important stories of the times. It is also the fascinating love story of two quite amazing people.
