Everyone should read this book especially now in a time when the Dodd-Frank act and the regulations imposed during that time could be changed. The changes will not be for the best interests of the people of the US. They will be changed because of greed.

Excellent work - Geithner was there and in the middle of it as things fell apart under Bush and Obama recovery. The incredible part is no one would accept the outcomes even though they were "very good" compared to what could have been. Particularly the Press who had no insight into the issues or actions taken and when they were successful they just ignored and went on the the next sensation. And the we get the tell it all films which are very poorly informed as I will Geithner every time after hearing this

A great inside account of the event leading up and correction of the greatest financial crisis that we have faced since the depression. It took courage and foresightedness of some of the great financial minds to get us out.
