Omen is probably most notable for introducing into the series the character Vestara Khai and the Lost Tribe of the Sith, (Sith wannabes if you ask me), as well as continuing Luke and Ben's journey throughout the galaxy and expanding on the strange illness affecting the Jedi.
Omen was short and easy to get through, though I personally didn't find it as enjoyble as Outcast.

Weak. Could have been a decent story, but certainly not interesting enough for me to keep reading the series and find out what happens.
