Great book, I was super disappointed about what happened in chapter one, but overall it was a great book.

Flanagan just won't stop his series. Just finish already! He is pretty much just carrying the series on and on by replacing the character with other characters, but keeping them pretty much the same. i.e. Halt replaced by Will, Crowley replaced by Gillian, Will replaced by Maddie, Cassandra replaced by Maddie, etc. The original series was good, but he needs to finally end the series.

It's ok. I personally don't like it. It seems like he just needed something tragic to happen.

Ok, so, I really liked this series and i'd defanatly recommend it, but seriously, have you seen the covers? They're horrible! Like on the Siege of Macindaw, i mean pink and yellow?!
Other then the covers though it's a really amazing series, as soon as i'd finished one i'd pick up the next one and start reading!

Flanagan has done it again, weaving a beloved conclusion to his beloved series with well-fleshed-out characters, raw and undefined emotion, and a few sarcastic witticisms thrown into the mix. Definitely not the best in the series, but heartbreaking all the same. Sudden twists and shocks keep you turning page after page, just waiting to read more. The only downsides are a few editing errors, the existence of a rather annoying character, and the death of a highly-treasured character that will leave you in tears.

P.S. I just get sad thinking about this book. What a heartbreaker.

Not the best book in the series. AT ALL!!! The character Maddie really spoiled it.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: A beloved character dies in a sad (and sort of pitiful too) way.

will drew the bow back to his ear. one look at the sights and his well trained eyes could see that it would be a clean shot. He loosed.
