I realize this book is about people changing and how they change; but the conversation between any given person in this book was very confusing and hard to follow. The ending just seemed to cut off, was not sure how each person's life was changed.

I'm a huge John Lescroart fan but was very disappointed in this. As I recall, it was his first novel and he has improved dramatically over this, so don't let it keep you from reading his other books!
