Back in 1944 they sure knew how to make entertaining Westerns - They sure don't anymore.

This enjoyable, fast-paced "buddy" Western showcases the rugged, masculine appeal of actor Robert Mitchum who, in his first starring role, was just 27 at the time. Mitchum certainly made a mighty fine looking cowboy.

Set in and around the prosperous gold-mining town of Gold Hill, Nevada, Jim Lacey (aka. Nevada) and his 2 loyal buddies, Dusty and Chito, soon find themselves the unsuspecting victims of a cross, and then a double-cross.

With the great help of his buddies it's now up to Nevada to clear matters up, settle some scores, and expose the culprits who are terrorizing the countryside.

Filmed in b&w, "Nevada" was based on the Zane Grey novel of the same name. This picture has a brisk running-time of only 62 minutes.
