Mia has this memory when she was younger about her embarrassing part. She told her teachers the numbers have types of colours. Now she is in Grade 8. Then at home, she told her parents which they took her to the doctor's. The doctor checked her and said to go to a specialist. It was true, Mia did see colours. At school, once the other students heard about their situation, they asked her what each of their names were. Later on, she met Jerry; a man that helps special ability people (really cool). She talks to a pen pal who has the ability too. Later on, her precious cat Mango dies which is very upsetting. Jenna (her best friend) buys her a new friendship bracelet.
Mia found out where Mango came from; she was a father to kittens. (I think.)
Always be yourself and never put yourself down, no matter what others say about you.

Add a CommentA really good book! I think i might have synthensia too. :)
The main character of this novel is unique because of her synesthesia, a condition that causes her to experience senses differently. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever felt like an outsider.
i found this truly amazing because unlike other books where there is usually a normal character experiencing normal issues this book takes life to a whole new level. This book informs me on a new early life style. It was very interesting. when I first saw this O was like 'no way that could be good' You know what? I love it. It's so good!

Really a sweet read. Loveable characters, soulful quirks and some very heartfelt bits. Oh, that tornado of feelings being a 13 year old girl! I remember it well!
It was fascinating to learn about synesthesia while reading this book! I enjoyed the characters and the story immensely. It would be a good book for children who are struggling with grief.
Love this book. :D:D:D:D:D:D
Amazing book! It is written very well! Reccomend for anybody who wants a very good read.
I especially enjoyed this book because I can relate to Mia because I also have synesthesia
and we share the same name :)
Great Book!!!
I do have synesthesia, however I wish I had this type of it. I can taste colors which is not as cool as hearing colors. This book is a good account of this gift of the senses.
