Author's own biographical experience in switching from LOW Fat, High Carbs diet to a very moderate form of LC.

As a layman, author gets a lot of "facts" wrong - LC, or more truly VLCHF, diets require very high levels of fats, especially animal fats - not very high protein levels, but significantly sufficient levels).

This author has swung back and forth from moderately LC to low calorie, no sugar back to LC and most recently to Paleolithic.

I guess anything to make a buck.

Her LC books have been only moderately so (and she clearly doesn't grasp VLCHF).... and her Paleolithic attempts have been ridiculous.
