Obviously, the whole of the book won't apply to any one reader -- but if it does, get thee to a doctor! I can't practice for extended periods of time, so I found the relevant chapters really useful in helping me create shorter, but still-rewarding routines. Good book. I will definitely borrow it again.
This book has a nice introduction to yoga and what it is, the science behind how it cures, and how to get started.
This book caught my eye because it is the first book about yoga that I have seen that shows specific poses to help cure many different ailments. I enjoyed reading the introductory part as it was good information and just long enough to inform but not become boring. The poses and what ailments they are for is explained nicely and with photos.
Anyone interested in starting a yoga program and especially someone looking for a way to relieve specific ailments through yoga would enjoy this book.
