This book has a nice introduction to yoga and what it is, the science behind how it cures, and how to get started.
This book caught my eye because it is the first book about yoga that I have seen that shows specific poses to help cure many different ailments. I enjoyed reading the introductory part as it was good information and just long enough to inform but not become boring. The poses and what ailments they are for is explained nicely and with photos.
Anyone interested in starting a yoga program and especially someone looking for a way to relieve specific ailments through yoga would enjoy this book.
