The Barkers have recently moved to Arizona to live in a house they have inherited from Mr. Barker’s uncle, Hank Cormody. When their cat, Josie, runs away, the Barker children, Simon, Henry and Jack, follow her up Superstition Mountain which they have been warned is a very dangerous place. They find three human skulls and begin asking about the mountain’s reputation. It has been the site of many mysterious deaths but the boys and their neighbour, Delilah, are determined to solve the mystery. Reviewed by BPL volunteer EE
