With her hateful brother, Binky, in town, Lady Georgiana Rannoch is desperately seeking an escape, which comes in the form of an invitation from the queen to represent the royals at a wedding in Transylvania. The bride happens to be her old school chum, Marty. But staying in her macabre-looking castle proves to be unnerving - especially when she finds dear Marty with blood running down her chin, and a prominent wedding guest is poisoned.

(The fourth book in the Royal Spyness series)

This is another great book in the Royal Spyness Series. However the description is misleading because Georgiana's brother Binky is not hateful at all, but rather his usual affable self. I will definitely continue to read this fun series!

This is a very fun, silly mystery series -- each one works as a standalone, but it's better to read the series in order, primarily to observe the development of Georgie and Darcy's relationship. Georgie is an excellent heroine -- her naivete is a source of a lot of the humor in the books, but it never quiiiiite crosses the line into absurdity. Add in lots of faux-gothic touches like a Transylvanian castle and the possibility of vampires in this installment, and you've got an entertaining read.
