GREAT Season 2 - even better than Season 1 - all the characters and more continue to evolve and engage my viewing mind.

Still a lovely period piece set in two towns in England. Lovely costumes, thoughtful scripts (Although the two people who suffer from superiority complexes are occasionally annoying.) The snoot sisters who run the dress shop have some major upheavals that I just did not see coming, and everyone's love life seems to be in disarray. Every episode is well crafted from the writing to the cinematography.

Loved this as much as Season 1. I love all the characters in this story but it's nice they add new characters, too. Looking forward to season 3.

I still found this season enjoyable although I was starting to get very annoyed with the attitude of the character of Dorcas lane, always closing the door thinking she is right and her inability to let things go. Even though they have goodwill, those type of people in real life can only be annoying after a while.

I enjoyed the first season, but with this I'm noticing the overacting and find it annoying that problems that arise are so easily resolved--not exactly true to life. I like the new character, Minnie, but I won't likely be taking out season three.

The second season of _Lark Rise to Candleford_ is just as good as the first season. In many ways, it's actually better than the first season. The characters are more developed, the plot lines are great, and there are more complicated romances. While some first season characters are missing, there are plenty of new & interesting characters in the second season. Great show. Highly recommended!
