I will give his previous book a chance before I disregard his novels. He seems to build one book on top of another and the characters are developed over time so that you have to enter into his "big-picture" story and keep up with it to understand/appreciate it fully.
Another fast-paced story with many strong characters-both good and bad ones! This is not the kind of book to read just one chapter at a time. The author won't let you.
Very good book. Iles writing is excellent as usual and he expands on old characters and creates new ones around a good plot. He manages to balance well the action with the slow-paced portions of the book. Definitely recommend this one

I agree with you Kodi. I bought this book the day before we were flying home from a beach vacation and by the time we were seated on the plane I had finished close to half of it. An excellent author who never fails to keep me turning pages long past my bedtime! Great book.
A very good read but perhaps about 100 pages too long.
Another Author who has never failed to excite me and I always want to finish a book in one night.
