I disagree with the previous reviewer, who perhaps did not notice that the subtitle begins with "LEARN TO CROCHET.....". This is a great book for beginning and novice crocheters. I liked it enough to get my own copy, and intend to make more of the projects in it. I found that there are enough appealing projects to hold my interest, the photos and illustrations are good, the patterns and instructions to be are easy to follow, and there is a sense of fun to the writing. You really can't ask for much more than that in a crochet book for beginners.
