This book was amazing. It's something new, creative, and very well-written. The best part is that the sequel to this book was even better than the first, which is a very rare case (because sequels usually aren't good).

dystopic because time travelling can really put you out of your element.

A unique book, Gideon the Cutpurse succeeds where few have in capturing the feel of the time it represents (1763). (At least in my humble opinion).
A charming cast of characters and a wonderful twist at the end make this book a great read, anytime.
Recommended.
