Magdalene and Sir Bellamy are asked to solve the problem of the prostitute in the bishop's bedroom. Since the bishop is King Steven's brother, and Steven's advisors are looking to weaken the church's influence with the king, this seems the logical solution. As Magdalene and Bell delve into this problem, they discover that the logical solution may not be the correct solution. In working through this mystery, they also resolve how their relationship can flourish. Unfortunately, this is the last of this series.
