Every woman wants to be Elizabeth Bennet Darcy-beautiful, gracious, universally admired, strong, daring and outspoken-a thoroughly modern woman in crinolines. And every woman will fall madly in love with Mr. Darcy-tall, dark and handsome, a nobleman and a heartthrob whose virility is matched only by his utter devotion to his wife. Their passion is consuming and idyllic-essentially, they can't keep their hands off each other-through a sweeping tale of adventure and misadventure, human folly and numerous mysteries of parentage. Hold on to your bonnets! This sexy, epic, hilarious, poignant and romantic sequel to Pride and Prejudice goes far beyond Jane Austen.

Could not finish - ultimately gave up halfway through after skimming through half of that. I believe the vocabulary choices were more obscure than reminiscent of Regency and/or Austen. To counter the review that says this is the best continuation ever read, it most definitely is the worst one that I could not finish reading. If you're interested in endless sex between two people named Darcy and Elizabeth, then maybe this is for you.

The best continuation of Pride and Prejudice I've read so far.

Loved this book! Be prepared - it is a long tale of servants, illegitimate children, and of course, Lizzy and Darcy. Spicy and hot in places.

A very racy sequel to Pride and Prejudice that would make Jane Austen blush. The story is quite entertaining, even touching at times. The author writes the story- even the love scenes- in an Austenesque type of language that is fairly convincing. An enjoyable read, just don't expect anything in the same league as an Austen novel.
