Twelve-year-old Amy runs to her Dad's sister, Clare, to stay with her in an old house just outside of town after she has a disagreement with her Mom about babysitting her handicapped sister, The house once belonged to Amy's great-grandparents. In the attic Amy finds a dollhouse that is the exact replica of the house they are staying in. Soon she realizes that something really spooky is going on surrounding the dollhouse and is baffled by the strange reaction her aunt has to what Amy is sure is a haunting. After a lot of sleuthing and discovering what once happened in the house years earlier, Amy and her sister learn to work together to solve a family mystery. Great book for 4th and 5th graders. My granddaughter loved it.
