This was written in 1985, when I feel McManus was at the height of his "comedic powers". I think it is the best collection of his short stories. "Gun Running" still gets me laughing out loud, but so does "Trailer Lights" and "The Grasshopper Trap. For anyone who enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, hunting or shooting, (and has a sense of humor), you can't go wrong!
