If you like sarcasm, fantasy, and fun beyond belief THIS is the series for you! This might also be the only series where I prefer having the audiobook in addition to the physical copy - Luke Daniels might just be the best narrator in…

A good start to a series. And any book where the dog gets the best lines is perfect for me.

Fluff.

This mythology based fantasy book is something quite similar to Rick Riordan's 'Percy Jackson'. Our protagonist is twenty-one centuries old Atticus O’Sullivan, he is a Druid. Druids are humans but they can practice magic and live for…

In my opinion I have found this series to be a better fit with my sense of reading and humour style than Jim Butcher's character Harry Dresden. Yes I have read 2-3 (and did start at the beginning of the series) of the Dresden file, they…

A bit lighter than the Harry Dresden books and a bit funnier. Looking forward to reading the next books in the series.

Interesting story full of twists and turns. Not a comedy, but there are excellent humorous moments. Hearne has obviously been practicing the craft of writing in order to put out an item of this quality. I love the occasional use of some…

Perfect match for fans of Harry Dresden. Rollicking good fun. And you can't go wrong with a talking wolfhound.

What would you do if you were an ancient Druid living in Arizona and an Irish god came after you? That question is answered in Hounded. Aside from assorted gods; witches, vampires, and werewolves join in the action and our hero gets to…

If you're looking for a fast, funny read and you're a fan of mythology and magic in the modern world, here's a great pick. Atticus O'Sullivan is the last Druid, and is just trying to live peacefully, running his bookshop and hunting (in…

A pretty standard Urban fantasy novel. Atticus was super sassy though which I loved! All in all it was enjoyable but nothing new was brought to the table.

Hounded by Kevin Hearne is the book that brought me back into reading fantasy, it isn't only funny; but a wonderful story. It reminds me a lot of something my dad would make up on camping trips, just strung out and placing more detail into…

Hounded is the first novel of an entirely different series that I've read in many years. I've struggled as a reader to find the best literature available. Sadly, my high school had a tight and limited selection, so it would not be until…

A good first book...fun, humorous, adventure. Writing, plots and character developments improve with each book of the series. Well worth reading.

This is by far my favourite book. Kevin Hearne has an amazing sense of humour and manages to grab the focus of the reader and hold on tight. This book is filled to the brim with action, humour, adventure, and awesomeness.

This light urban fantasy features a 2,000 year old druid who talks and acts like a 23 year old, his humorous talking (telepathically) Irish wolfhound, his vampire and werewolf lawyers, gods from several pantheons, witches, and the best…

Absolutely adore this new-to-me series, especially Oberon the Irish wolfhound, who manages to be sweet and snarky at the same time. Celtic mythology is my favorite branch, and it was nice to recognize some of the names Hearne constantly…

Loved this book, The writing was clever and funny and the book was not too long. Great choice for a quick read. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Atticus O'Sullivan is a character I will enjoy getting to know.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Hearne has created a world where beings centuries old live among us "normal" folk. Atticus is a smart, funny bookstore-owning Druid who wants nothing more than a peaceful life healing the earth & going on the…

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book. Urban fantasy done the way I like it, full of wit, humor and adventure, with none of the dorky pining romance that makes most urban fantasies thinly-veiled bodice rippers. Atticus is a…

The best new book I've read this year. It is smart without being pretentious, exciting and funny but not too silly, and just plain good fun to read. What is really impressive to me was that Hearne manages to incorporate Jesus and Mary,…
